Is there a pose or two you’ve been wondering how to approach or align yourself with, but never had the chance to examine closely with an experienced yoga teacher? Are you curious about the magical world of yoga but have not yet taken the time to explore it?
The Asana Lab course is an efficient and helpful way to get back to, or establish, a smooth and fluid yoga routine. A regular practice will spontaneously lead you to increased freedom, more success, and more happiness. These are not goals; they are simply symptoms of yoga.
The four-week-long course includes an introduction to Heartful Flow, a creative and fun approach to asana, sweet and grounding relaxation techniques, and a beginner's guide to meditation. There will also be time for questions and proper hands-on adjustments.
Matilda Mannström is a certified senior yoga teacher who was introduced to yoga in her early teens in 2007. With more than 10 years of teaching experience, she is training future instructors and teaching weekly classes such as Hatha, Yin, Heartful Flow, Yoga Nidra, and Meditation. On her journey, she has met wonderful teachers worldwide and is currently studying with Yogarupa Rod Stryker.
The new Saga Yoga studio holds a special place in Matilda’s heart. About 10 years ago, she was establishing a loving community in Helsinki—and it all began in this particular studio. It is with excitement and love that she is now returning to offer monthly courses as well as weekly classes in Ullanlinna. The place is filled with joy and grounding energies.
