Do you want to feel the benefits of yin yoga and are you curious about the magical world of the Chakras?

This is an 8-week Yin Yoga Course themed around the Chakras, balancing each energy center with targeted poses, sounds, elements, colors, sents, breathwork and affirmations.

What are Chakras? Chakras are energy centers within the body that influence physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. There are seven main chakras, each associated with different aspects of life, from grounding and stability to communication and intuition. Balancing these energies can promote harmony and overall well-being.

What is Yin Yoga? Yin yoga is a slow, meditative practice that involves holding poses for extended periods. It targets the deep connective tissues, promoting relaxation and energy flow. Yin yoga complements chakra work by helping to release blockages and restore balance within the body and mind.

Course Overview: 

Each week we will focus on one chakra, using specific postures, breathwork, sound healing and affirmations to activate and harmonize the energy center. The last class of the course will be a full chakra integration aligning all chakras for holistic well-being.

This journey can help you feel more balanced, grounded and energetically aligned.


Week 1: Root Chakra (Muladhara) 

Grounding & Stability

Theme: Feeling safe, secure and connected to the earth.

Focus Areas: Hips, lower back, legs, feet.

Week 2: Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana) 

Theme: Creativity & Flow. Embracing emotions and creativity.

Focus Areas: Hips, lower belly, pelvis.

Week 3: Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) 

Theme: Confidence & Power. Building self-worth and personal strength.

Focus Areas: Core, digestive organs, spine.

Week 4: Heart Chakra (Anahata) 

Theme: Love & Compassion. Cultivating self-love, love for others and connection.

Focus Areas: Chest, shoulders, upper back.

Week 5: Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) 

Theme: Communication & Truth. Speaking your truth and expressing yourself with clarity.

Focus Areas: Neck, throat, shoulders.

Week 6: Third Eye Chakra (Ajna) 

Theme: Intuition & Insight. Developing inner wisdom and clarity.

Focus Areas: Forehead, upper spine, nervous system.

Week 7: Crown Chakra (Sahasrara)

Theme: Spiritual Connection. Expanding awareness and connection to the divine.

Focus Areas: Full-body integration.

Week 8: Full Chakra Integration

Theme: Harmony & Balance. Aligning all chakras for holistic well-being.

Focus Areas: Whole body.

Led by teacher Mandi, who has been teaching yoga for four years and various fitness styles for over a decade. With her extensive experience and approachable teaching style Mandi offers a holistic and welcoming approach to yin yoga and the chakras. This course is a deep dive into aligning your energy, cultivating calmness and reconnecting with yourself.
